Directories, by what they actually are
Directory is a word doing too much work. A general web directory, a local citation site and a product listing are three different things with different rules, different audiences and different outcomes, and treating them as one category is why most advice on this is useless.

There are no DA tier pages here and there never will be. A page of directories above DA 50 is a subset of a page of directories above DA 30, which is a subset of this one. Same data, three URLs, no honest editorial difference between them. Authority is a filter on each page instead, which is what it always should have been.
