Sample rows. All 24 entries below carry no verification date, because their figures were made up to build the page rather than researched. The names are real and the numbers are not. They are here so the table has something in it, they are marked Not checked in the table itself, and they keep this page out of search until the researched set replaces them.

Ecommerce Directories and Listing Sites for Online Stores

You run an online shop, you search for ecommerce directories, and most of what comes back is classified ad sites, coupon sites and deal forums. That is a fair picture of the category. Very few places list online stores the way a web directory lists websites, so the useful question is what you have to offer each type of site.

A classified site wants an ad for something you sell. A deal or coupon site wants a discount code. A store directory or review site wants your shop itself. Google Merchant Center wants your whole product catalogue as a feed, and in return your products can show up in Google's shopping results.

All 24 entries below are free and none of them needs a business address, so a shop that only exists online can use every one. The pattern worth knowing before you start is that the sites with real shopper traffic mostly give you a nofollow link, and the ones that give a dofollow link mostly have small audiences.

Start here

Three to do first if you are starting from nothing. Each is rated High by our partner, free, and a different kind of site, so between them you learn the whole category in an afternoon.

  1. Google Merchant Center

The one entry that can put your products in front of shoppers on Google itself. It is the hardest on the list, and it is worth it for that reason alone.

Hard effort, approval listed as days

  2. SiteJabber Store Directory

A review site for online businesses, which gives new shoppers somewhere to check you are real before they pay a store they have never heard of.

Easy effort, approval listed as instant

  3. ClassifiedAds.com

One of two classified sites rated High and listed as dofollow, and the larger of the two by traffic, so it is a sensible place for your first product ad.

Easy effort, approval listed as instant

If you already run discounts, add RetailMeNot Store Listing and DealSpotr Store Ads next. If you do not, leave the coupon sites until you do.

Every option, compared

Read the Link type column against the Traffic column, because on this page they pull in opposite directions.

Every entry with more than a million monthly visits in the sheet is nofollow, which means the link carries no ranking credit to your store. That includes OfferUp Classifieds, Gumtree Free Ads, Locanto Free Ads, SiteJabber, RetailMeNot, Slickdeals and Google Merchant Center. Their value is shoppers who might click through and buy.

The dofollow entries, which can pass ranking credit, are the smaller classified sites and the store and product directories. ClassifiedAds.com and Adpost Free Ads are the two that are both dofollow and rated High. The rest of the dofollow set is rated Medium or Skip, so decide whether a small listing is worth your time before you spend an evening on all of them.

The Needs a business address filter does nothing here. None of these entries asks for one.

What submitting to Google Merchant Center actually involves

This is a product feed rather than a directory. You give Google a structured list of your products, with prices, images and stock, and Google can then show those products in its shopping results. The link attribute matters very little here, because the value is shoppers seeing your products on Google. It is the only entry rated Hard, so set aside proper time for it and keep your product data accurate once it is live.

A coupon site, so what you hand over is a discount code rather than a description of your shop. It carries the second largest traffic figure in the set and is nofollow, so treat it as a sales channel. Only offer codes you are happy to see shared widely, because that is what a coupon site is for.

The largest traffic figure on the page, and the only entry whose approval speed is unknown in the data. Slickdeals is a community deal site, so what gets attention is a genuinely good offer rather than a listing. Go in with a deal you would be proud of, or wait until you have one.

Classifieds with a UK leaning, listed for UK and Worldwide. Worth doing if you sell to UK shoppers and less so if you do not. Nofollow and rated High by our partner for its traffic.

A review site for online businesses. For a new store this does a different job from everything else on the page: it gives a cautious shopper somewhere to check you before they buy. A profile with no reviews does little, so plan how you will ask recent customers for one.

How we chose these, and where the numbers came from

These 24 entries came from the ecommerce tab of the collection sheet our SEO partner keeps, and they were added on 14 October 2026. Every figure in the table is from that sheet, including the priority rating, which is our partner's call on how much each one is worth your time.

We have not yet checked these entries ourselves. That matters most for the Link type and Cost columns, because those are the two things a site can change without telling anyone, so read them as a strong starting point rather than as a confirmed record.

Where the figures on this page came from

Every row comes from the ecommerce tab of our SEO partner's collection sheet and was added on 14 October 2026. Domain authority and traffic figures are third party estimates carried over from that sheet and have not been independently reconciled. Link attribute, cost, approval speed, effort and priority are also as supplied, and none has been checked by us yet.

Every entry is listed as free. Nothing here is an affiliate link and no payment to us moves any position.

The scoring weights, what a verification actually involves, and what gets an entry cut entirely are the same on every page of this site, so they are published once rather than restated here. Read the full methodology and money policy.

A new store with no links at all

Start with the dofollow sites rated High, then work down the Medium ones while you still have the energy.

ClassifiedAds.com and Adpost Free Ads are both dofollow, free, Easy and listed as instant approval. Post a proper ad for one or two of your best products on each, with a real photo and a link to the product page rather than your home page. Then add eCommerce.cool, ProductBurst Directory and ProductCool Directory, which are small store and product directories rated Medium.

None of these will send many shoppers. What they can do is give a brand new store its first few links, which helps search engines find it in the first place.

A store that already runs discounts

Use the coupon and deal sites, and treat them as a sales channel rather than an SEO task.

RetailMeNot Store Listing, DealSpotr Store Ads, DealsPlus Promo, CouponChief Merchant and Slickdeals Merchant Promo are all free and all nofollow. What you give them is a code or an offer, and what you get back is shoppers who are already looking for a deal.

Before you submit, decide which codes you are happy to see anywhere on the internet, because that is where they will end up. A single storewide code with an end date is easier to live with than a stack of one off codes you then have to chase down.

A store selling physical products to local buyers

The large classified sites are worth more to you than to anyone else on this page.

OfferUp Classifieds, Gumtree Free Ads and Locanto Free Ads each carry millions of monthly visits in the sheet. All three are nofollow, Easy and listed as instant approval, so they are quick to try. Check the market each one is listed for first: OfferUp for Worldwide and US, Gumtree for UK and Worldwide, Locanto for Worldwide.

Post real items with real photos and prices, and answer messages quickly. On a classified site the ad is only as good as your reply time.

What to actually expect

Expect most of this to be quick. Twenty one of the 24 entries are rated Easy, and most are listed as instant approval, so the work is mainly writing a decent ad or store description once and reusing it.

Expect Google Merchant Center to be the exception. It is the only entry rated Hard, and getting a product feed accepted takes care with prices, images and shipping details. It is also the one most likely to bring you buyers.

Expect very little SEO movement from the classified and deal sites. The biggest ones are nofollow, and the dofollow ones are small. Shoppers clicking through and buying is the realistic upside.

Expect the table to change. None of these entries has been checked yet, so some link types, costs and approval speeds will be corrected once they are.

Who should skip this entirely

Skip this set if you sell a service rather than products. Classified, coupon and shopping feed sites are built around items with a price, and a service business gets more from the general web directories or, if it has premises, the local citation pages.

Skip it if you sell software or an app. Product and startup directories are a better fit for that, and they are listed on their own page.

Skip the coupon and deal sites if you never discount. Listing a store with no live offer on a coupon site gives shoppers a reason to leave disappointed.

And skip the four entries rated Skip by our partner, E-Commerce Directory Online, Choiceful Store Directory, Hazaar Ads and ProductDirs, unless you have finished everything else and still want more. They are free and dofollow, and our partner rates them lowest in the set.

Questions people actually ask about this

Is Google Merchant Center a backlink?

Not in any useful sense. It is a product feed: you give Google your catalogue and Google can show your products in its shopping results. It is listed here as nofollow and its value is shoppers seeing your products, not ranking credit. For most online stores it is still the single most worthwhile entry in the set.

Do coupon sites help my SEO?

Very little. Every coupon and deal site in this set is listed as nofollow, which means the link carries no ranking credit. They can bring shoppers who are ready to buy, which is a good reason to use them if you already run discounts.

Should I post my products on free classified sites?

Yes, if you sell physical products. The larger classified sites bring shoppers and the smaller dofollow ones can give a new store a first few links. Post a small number of your best products with real photos, and link each ad to the product page.

Do I need a business address for any of these?

No. None of the 24 entries asks for one in the data, so a store that only exists online can use all of them. If you also have a shop or showroom, the local citation pages are worth doing as well.

Have these sites been checked?

Not yet. The entries were collected by our SEO partner and added on 14 October 2026, and every row is marked Not yet checked. Treat the link type and cost as a starting point, and look at each submission page yourself before you hand anything over.
